You can make a lasting difference. Your gift today, in any amount, can take early learning to new heights! But most importantly, you can help our youngest community members have the skills they need to soar.
From the classroom…
Nature is an amazing teacher. Wild About Learning combines storybooks and live animal presentations over six weeks of classroom visits.
Experiences with the outside, natural world nurture cooperation and decision-making skills, empowering our youngest citizens (and future leaders) to be self-aware about what’s happening inside their hearts and minds in relationship to others, all while seeding an environmental ethic.
…to a nature preserve
It all culminates in a field trip to the 77.5-acre Dorothy Rider Pool Wildlife Sanctuary in Emmaus, PA. Many of these students have never been on a hike before the field trip experience which includes a habitat hike, a pond study, and the building blocks for the future of environmental stewardship.
