River Conditions to Next Access Point:

This reach of river is slow-moving.   Much of it is in the slack water behind the Chain Dam near Glendon.  The Route 33 access point, which is 2.8 miles down river, is an elaborate boat ramp and parking lot.  It is located on RIVER LEFT past the (very high) Route 33 (automobile) Bridge.  An island will be encountered before reaching this access point.  Either side of the island is navigable, but the access point is upstream from the downstream end of the island.
