Access Point Orientation and Description:
Access is on RIVER RIGHT. Two
broad staircases lead to the river, along with two rubber slides
that commercial outfitters use to lower rafts to the river.
Rocks in the river create a shallow pool.
Locating
the Access Point from the River:
The river takes three large turns
in the nine-mile trip from White Haven to Rockport -- left, then
right, then right again. As the river bends for a fourth
large turn to the left, look on RIVER RIGHT for the access point
staircases, slides, and a wooden pedestrian bridge over Buck Mountain
Creek. The access point is immediately beyond the pedestrian
bridge.
