Northampton Canal Park: A one-mile
paved walking path (on RIVER LEFT) follows the river's edge within
the borough of Northampton. The northern end of the walking
path meets a section of the Lehigh Navigation towpath owned by
the Tri-Boro Sportsmen's Club, which is private property with
no trespassing allowed. The southern end of the walking
path ends at the Hokendauqua Creek.

Access Point Orientation and Description: This access point is on RIVER RIGHT.
The Cementon Dam is located just above the access point.
Locating the Access Point from the River: This access point is on RIVER
RIGHT about 0.1 mile downstream of the Cementon-Northampton (Route
329) bridge and 100 feet downstream of the Cementon Dam.
Paddlers ENDING their trip at this access point should take out
on RIVER RIGHT just downstream from the Cementon-Northampton (Route
329) bridge and about 200 yards UPSTREAM of the Cementon Dam.
Directions to Access Parking/Unloading Area by Land: From
Route 22, turn onto Route 145 North and go 4.5 miles to Route
329. Turn right onto Route 329 East and go 1.0 mile to a
parking area on the right (south) side of the road just before
the Cementon-Northampton (Route 329) bridge and the Lehigh River.
Access Point Location: At the edge of the parking area, follow
the path for about 200 yards through the fence down to the river.
