Day 1: White Haven to Rockport

Pocono Whitewater Adventures Rafting

To Pocono Whitewater Adventures from Mauch Chunk Lake Park: Turn right out of Mauch Chunk Lake Park onto Lentz Trail (which turns into Broadway).  Follow Broadway into town approx. 4 miles to Rt. 209 – go straight through light, road bends to the left.  At next light turn right onto Rt. 903 North, go over the bridge.  Follow 903 North to Pocono Whitewater Adventures (on your left).

From New York and New Jersey:  Take I-80 from George Washington Bridge through Delaware Water Gap. Take PA Exit #284 (Blakeslee) South on 115 for 2 miles to 903 South. Take 903 South for 10 miles - Pocono Whitewater Adventures/Skirmish USA is on the right -directly on Route 903.

From the Lehigh Valley and Philadelphia:  Take Northeast Extension of PA Turnpike (476 North), to Exit 74 (Mahoning Valley).  This is the first exit AFTER you go through the Lehigh Tunnel.  Pay your toll, then take the left exit ramp and bear to the left. Turn left onto Rt. 209, then make an almost immediate left onto Harrity Road. Go over small concrete bridge (you'll see Platz's restaurant on the right). Follow Harrity Road to the end. Turn right, follow Pocono Whitewater signs up the mountain to Rt. 903. Then turn Right onto Route 903 North and follow 3.8 miles to Pocono Whitewater Adventures/Skirmish USA.  It will be on the left hand side.

From Harrisburg, Baltimore & Washington D.C.: Take I-81 North to I-78 East to 476 North (Pa Turnpike). Take Exit 74 (Mahoning Valley). Returning to Mauch Chunk Lake Park:

Turn right out of Pocono Whitewater Adventures onto 903 South.  Take 903 South into downtown Jim Thorpe.  Go over bridge and turn left onto 209 North.  Continue to the next traffic light onto Broadway.  Continue on Broadway approx. 4 miles.  Turn left into Mauch Chunk Lake Park.
